Welcome to Essential Wellness;

a corporate wellness program.

We spend more of our waking hours at work than anywhere else. So, what if being at work could not only help your bottom line but also improve the overall wellbeing of you and your staff?

The cost of absenteeism in Australia is estimated at $7 billion each year, while presenteeism (defined as not fully functioning at work because of a medical condition) was recently estimated to cost the economy more than $34 billion a year. ¹

Preliminary research shows that Australian businesses lose over $6.5 billion each year by failing to provide early intervention/treatment for employees with mental health conditions. It is clear that the cost of ignoring the problem is far greater than the cost of developing and implementing strategies to create a safe and healthy workplace.

Along with the astounding numbers above, Nearly 80% of workers today feel stress on the job, with nearly half saying that they need help in learning how to manage stress. 62% routinely find that they end the day with work-related neck pain, 44% reported stressed out eyes, 38% complained of hand pain and 34% had difficulty sleeping because they were too ‘stressed out’.

By working with your overall company goals and objectives, we can help you curate and create a culture of health, intertwining individual health promotion efforts with your staff.

Our Essential Wellness programs are developed by mindfulness experts, health coaches, HR managers and wellness educators in the pursuit of alleviating unnecessary stress and anxiety in a corporate setting.

We offer a full range of customisable workplace wellness programs, seminars and workshops designed to keep your workplace healthy and productive, and we design our workshops with the stats in mind. See below for specific workshop information.

Our approach to corporate wellbeing is to cultivate a culture of overall health.

By using established mindfulness, and stress reduction techniques we’ll transform your corporate environment into one that allows everyone to flourish and be more effective. These programs are not about ‘adding more’ to your already-full days, they’re about supporting your teams to identify the leaders within and promoting an understanding of self.

No more missed workdays. No more stress-related losses. This is about having happy, constructive employees who want to be at work.

These are examples of programs run previously in corporate settings, please get in touch if you’d like to tailor something specific to your workplace and we can book a consultation.

Our wellness sessions can be delivered in various formats, including 1 hour ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions, half-day or full-day workshops. All workshops are done on-site and can be scheduled early morning, midday, afternoons or evenings. We make it work to your needs!
