Better late than never. This would have to be my life motto nowadays. I’m loving the busy-ness of life, as I know I’d be complaining of boredom if the situation were reversed. Had a spare afternoon and, alas, here is my photo diary of my Thailand trip a couple of months back! Continue reading Thailand Photo Diary
This was by far my favourite day of ours in Samui. Pure bliss and utter relaxation. It was a day of exploration in the most adventurous (or dangerous?) way – on the back of a Thai motorbike.
We certainly made up for that stress by lazing around on kilometres of untouched beaches. The white sand and turquoise water was a thing, I thought, only in postcards. Clearly I was mistaken. This particular day was just breathtaking. Continue reading Samui
Oh to be intercontinental more frequently! My state of wanderlust is growing deeper and deeper and my recent trip only spurred it on. Especially after this particular visit.
We had the amazing privilege to be able to visit the Intercontinental Hotel in Koh Samui, Thailand for sunset drinks and dinner on our last trip. As we took in the amazing view, it became clear why the hotel had made it on the New York Times’ ‘1000 Things to do Before You Die’ list.
There are no words to describe the beauty of this place and despite my incessant snapping, it was near impossible to fully capture the wonder of it all.
You know a place is beautiful when the raw creation outdoes the smarts of our technology. I feel no amount of camera tools or instruments could capture the beauty of this place to its full extent.
The Phi Phi Islands are definitely a place you need to see with your own eyes in order to fully experience its amazement. Put it on the bucket list!
Hope you can catch a glimpse of what took my breath away.
It’s always a good feeling to be home. I love the excitement of travel but I’m starting to realise I love the joy of being at home just as much.
This is the first (of many) shoots we did in Thailand. It was hard to limit shooting as there were so many beautiful and amazing venues and locations. This is one of the simpler ones which is what I like it for. Most of the shots are fairly raw as there wasn’t much wearing of makeup – the definition of free.
Just had the excitement of booking my first holiday in a long time! This break is well overdue and comes as a welcome retreat during the school holidays!
We’re spending some time in Phuket at the start of our trip before venturing over to Koh Samui to explore there. It will be a first in Samui and I just CAN’T WAIT!
A perfect way of extending Summer that little bit longer! #wintersux
