When a working weekend somehow manages turns to turn into a girls pamper weekend it’s always a winner. This is what unexpectedly happened on our most recent trip to the town of Bowral in the Southern Highlands.
Love this place. The view, the comfy bed, the amazing buffet breakfast. What is not to love? We will definitely be back.
These shots were from a road trip with my photographer gal pal, Dom Cherry. We travelled up to Armidale in NSW for a work trip, however, decided to make the most of the adventure, stopping off along the way.
There are no words to describe the sheer beauty of this place. This island probably has the clearest water I’ve ever seen with the most beautiful landscape.
Captain Cook discovered the Isle of Pines and rightly called it so due to the abundance of pine trees on the island. The Isle of Pines is a frequent stop for most P&O Cruises. You can enjoy the island on foot in your own time or you can make the most of the tours offered around the island.
This place was utterly breathtaking. We weren’t sure on what shore tours to do while we were in port at Noumea, however, we weren’t overly keen on spending the day in Noumea itself. A few friends recommended the Amedee lighthouse (le Phare Amédée) tour to us and, after doing some research, decided that would be our best bet.
Better late than never. This would have to be my life motto nowadays. I’m loving the busy-ness of life, as I know I’d be complaining of boredom if the situation were reversed. Had a spare afternoon and, alas, here is my photo diary of my Thailand trip a couple of months back! Continue reading Thailand Photo Diary
Yes yes yes!! This was just ALL good! After being voted best burgers in Sydney, I can now, safely say, I know what all the hype is about.
Everytime I have had the chance to visit this amazing burger bar, it has been overflowing with people wanting their own little taste of heaven. There’s a burger for everyone, from the veggies to the carnivores. The best part about it all is that all the burgers are $10. Win!
This was by far my favourite day of ours in Samui. Pure bliss and utter relaxation. It was a day of exploration in the most adventurous (or dangerous?) way – on the back of a Thai motorbike.
We certainly made up for that stress by lazing around on kilometres of untouched beaches. The white sand and turquoise water was a thing, I thought, only in postcards. Clearly I was mistaken. This particular day was just breathtaking. Continue reading Samui
Oh to be intercontinental more frequently! My state of wanderlust is growing deeper and deeper and my recent trip only spurred it on. Especially after this particular visit.
We had the amazing privilege to be able to visit the Intercontinental Hotel in Koh Samui, Thailand for sunset drinks and dinner on our last trip. As we took in the amazing view, it became clear why the hotel had made it on the New York Times’ ‘1000 Things to do Before You Die’ list.
